Vega Open 2015

Dear friends!
We are glad to announce the Vega Open 2015 competition which is to be held on July 10th to 12th. We are hereby inviting the athletes, the representatives, their friends and spectators, to join in or simply to watch the athletes compete on the water.

The event is to be held in the Vega Waterski Club.

 

Official and Technical Info

Divisions: Under 14; Under 17; Open; 35+.

Each event shall consist of two rounds; a preliminary round and a final round. The competitions are to be held under the 2015 International IWWF Rules for the E&A group.

Homologation Level: Ranking List (this is the only Ranking List competition in Russia).

Entry fees: single event — 2000 rubles, two events — 2500 rubles, three events — 3000 rubles.

Boats

  • Slalom and Tricks: Malibu Response 2011, 5.7L / 340 hp.
  • Jump: Malibu Response 2012, 6L / 420 hp / 3-blade prop.

Both boats are equipped with ZeroOff (Rev. Q).

  • 11:20–14:20 — Slalom. Preliminary Round. Open Ladies, Open Men, Men 35+, Men 55+.
  • 14:45–20:00 — Tricks. Preliminary Round. Girls Under 14, Boys Under 14,  Girls Under 17, Boys Under 17.

Saturday, 11th July

  • 8:00–10:30 — Tricks. Preliminary Round. Open Ladies, Open Men.
  • 10:45–17:00 — Jump.  Preliminary Round. Girls Under 14, Boys Under 14, Girls Under 17, Boys Under 17, Open Ladies, Open Men.
  • 17:15–20:00 — Slalom. Final Round. Girls Under 14, Boys Under 14,  Girls Under 17, Boys Under 17, Men 35+, Men 55+.

Sunday, 12th July

  • 8:00–9:15 — Slalom. Final Round. Open Ladies, Open Men.
  • 9:30–13:30 — Tricks. Final Round. Girls Under 14, Boys Under 14,  Girls Under 17, Boys Under 17, Open Ladies, Open Men.
  • 14:00–17:45 — Jump. Final Round. Girls Under 14, Boys Under 14,  Girls Under 17, Boys Under 17, Open Ladies, Open Men.
  • 18:15–19:15 — Awards, Closing Ceremony.

Practice Schedule

Practice is available in the Vega Waterski Club from May 25th till July 9th upon preliminary booking.
Minimum length of a practice set is 15 minutes, cost is 5000 rubles/hour.

Accommodation is not provided: all participants requiring accommodation should take care of it on their own accord.

  • «Park Hotel Krankino» (former «Foresta Tropicana»), 6.5 km away from the Vega Waterski Club lake, double room is 4250+ rubles/day.

It is possible to park your own caravan on the Vega Waterski Club premises upon preliminary agreement with the Club.
